I love all kinds of movement, but Pilates is by far my favourite. In my mind Pilates has a holistic approach to fitness, health and the demands of everyday life, Pilates offers something for everyone regardless of age or ability, it really is a total mind body workout.
I came to Pilates through dance (having trained in Latin and Ballroom for almost 15 years) and have been teaching group reformer for just over three. My classes are energetic and focused on flow with an emphasis on achieving stability and coordination. I’m obsessed with any kind of standing arm work! I want my students to work hard and be challenged but also feel that they can have fun in the process, I am always up for a laugh.
I love group reformer as it brings a sense of common purpose, we are all in this together, when the class is full, engaged and focused it brings an awesome energy to the room and we all benefit.
